El Cheapo

I did a quick craft with one of my Goodwill picture frames I bought last week. Here's the frame as it looked when I purchased it - for 50 cents I might add.

Fun color, but it doesn't go with anything I own. So I painted it black. I then went into PowerPoint to make a little monogram thingy and printed it out on some scrapbook paper. Here's the finished product:

I covered up our last name, but you get the general idea. Cute, quick project for only 50 cents.

We took a drive around town this afternoon so I could try to get some pictures to post for the Parade of Porches. People don't do much decorating around here, but I we did find a few cute places. Check back on Monday to see what we found.

Gotta go....going to watch SNL in a few minutes. I'm anxious to see what they have in store for Sarah Palin tonight.
