When I got home, I pulled a chair into the bathroom and got to work. I put about 50 holes in the wall because I kept playing with the placement. But, this is what I ended up with:
Not bad for my first try at mistreating. Here's a close-up of the fabric:
It's coming through on my computer as a pink color but it's really a reddish color with cream accents. Now I'm off to check out everyone else's mistreatments!
Happy Birthday Tasha!

great work!
don't forget to hot glue fringe to the bottom when you get a chance!
heart you!
Love your new mistreatments. It's frustrating when you want to show a color but for some reason the tint changes when photographed. I love the pattern and it's beautiful no matter if it's pink or red.
BTW, re. recycling. I know it can be hard sometimes. Even little steps can make a big difference. Thanks for your honesty and participating.
Adorable! Love the close up of the fabric...and I have those same upholstery tacks too...and am itching to use them. :)
Nice job! Nothing like having a deadline to help you get projects done, right?!

Beautiful! The fabric is very pretty and those 50 tack holes don't count if you can't see them. ;-)
