As I mentioned, Dave and I went for a drive out in the country on Sunday. The fall colors are showing strong in some places...
and in others they are just starting to come out.
We saw a farmer out combining. It's just a *little* dry out there.
We drove out to a nearby lake and walked around for a little while. It was so pretty out there.
Thankfully we didn't see any snakes while we were walking around out there. I saw two on the road while we were driving and even that gave me the heebie jeebies. Yuck!

Those colors are beautiful. We are not having the fall colors here quite yet. I love these pictures a lot. The lake looks gorgeous, especially with the sun reflecting off of it. I love going for drives too. We need to do it more often. Dang though, we don't have lakes that pretty here!
I can't believe you saw 2 snakes. yuck. You'd think we would see them all over here, and I haven't seen one in a while. Thank goodness!
Oh, and how are you making those skinny, long pictures like that? I love those.
