week 14

Baby’s size
As you enter your second trimester, your baby is the size of a nectarine. All of her internal organs formed during the first trimester, and they will continue to mature from now until she's born.
Baby's Length: 3.42 in.
Baby's Weight: 1.52 oz.

How I am feeling
This week was very good to me.  I had very little nausea and my energy level is getting so much better.  I showered before work a couple time this week (I had been showering at night so I could sleep in longer in the mornings) and wore make-up to work every day (hadn't worn any make-up since January).  I even baked cookies for Dave one evening after school and did a little organizing which is pretty amazing since the past ten weeks I have pretty much come home from school and planted my butt on the couch.

What do I miss
Not much of anything at this point.

Gender prediction
Dave is 100% sure it's a boy.  Yesterday we were trying to decide where to go out for lunch and he said, "You and my son can decide."  I keep telling him we need to come up with some girls names because I think it's a girl but he isn't budging.

Food cravings
Nothing too overwhelming this week. Ohhh...I did have a coworker walk past me with a cup of coffee the other day and it made me want a cup so badly.  I hate anything coffee flavored so that was a weird one.

Food aversions
Thankfully, nothing really bothered me this past week.

Highlights this week
-We started cleaning out the office yesterday so we can turn it into the nursery.  We took a box and six bags of stuff to Goodwill.  We also got a lot of stuff boxed up that we will be storing.  There is still a lot to do in there but it felt good to get a start on it.
-Starting to feel like myself again.

Now I need to brag on my husband a little bit.  He has been amazing the past few months.  He did all the cleaning, laundry, and cooking while I laid around exhausted and nauseated for several weeks and didn't say a thing about it.  And then today he surprised me with some "just because" flowers. :o)

I can't wait to find out what you are having. :) The flowers are so sweet, and it's so nice that he did all of those things around the house. I think they start to nest a little bit too!
