Out of Hibernation

With spring starting tomorrow I'm starting to feel like I'm finally coming out of my slump.  We've had a little more sunshine and yesterday it was in the 40s (back to the 20s today, but hey we had one nice day!).  The sunshine definitely helps my mood and gets me moving.

We had a three day school week (Mon-Wed) this week but I had a hard time looking forward to the break.  I had a dentist appointment on Thursday morning that I was just dreading.  It was just a check up and cleaning but one tooth has been bothering me quite a bit.  The same tooth that they put a crown on this summer and said they might need to do a root canal later if that didn't fix it.  So...I was not looking forward to telling them that tooth was bothering me again because I did not want to hear that I needed a root canal.  Well, everything went great and my teeth are fine.  They think that tooth has just been aggravated by my teeth grinding at night.  Whew!  Not I just get to "look forward" to my last two wisdom teeth being removed this summer.

Otherwise not much else has been going on.  David and I have been doing quite a bit of spring cleaning the past couple weeks.  I've been doing some redecorating too and a few craft projects here and there.
I'll show ya this one in full once I have it hung up the way I want it.  I'll show you some of the redecorating too in the near future.

We had a really pretty sunset tonight.  I grabbed my camera quick and went outside.  I didn't get very good pictures though.  I guess standing outside in a t-shirt and socks in 27 degrees makes me hurry a bit when taking pics :o)

Hope ya all have a great weekend!

PS - I was wearing pants too...I just reread that and it didn't sound quite right....I normally wear pants when I'm outside...especially when it's below freezing  ;o)

haha! I'm glad you had pants on! :))

That sky looks GORGEOUS. Those might be the prettiest colors I have ever seen in the sky. Awesome picture!

Hey, Nichole! I've missed your posts. Think I've been in that same slump, though! We are expecting snow for the first day of spring here. I'm looking forward to seeing what the letters on the colored wood blocks are. :)

LOL about the pants...that would be a little chilly. I'm glad you're coming out of your slump...I've had a bit of one this winter too. I had a lot of dental work done in my 20's and I remember those feelings you're having. Can't wait to see the full photo of the wood blocks or signs.

Have a great weekend.
