My sister-in-law Shawna asked if I wanted this set of lamps while we were staying with them during our vacation. I wasn't sure at the time what I'd do with them but I gratefully accepted them anyway.
Well it didn't take long to decide that I wanted to put them in our kitchen. So I went to work painting the bases red and covering the shades with fabric. End result:

Those are super cute. Lovely little shades. It's hard not to think "paint!" when you see them in their original color. You made something wonderful with them :O)
Nichole, I see you got to the shades. Those lamps are really, really cute. If I hadn't just changed my kitchen from yellow & red to yellow & blue I would want them...a lot.
