Weekend Recap

We had a pretty low key weekend. David and I did a little shopping on Saturday for our Project Joy child. Later we went to get gas and were happy to see the prices had dropped to under $2.00 per gallon.

We hung out at home Saturday night. I worked on a couple Christmas gifts. I finished one and got a good start on another.

I met my grandma, mom, aunt, and cousin in Huron for lunch on Sunday. My grandma's 81st birthday is today so we took her for lunch out to celebrate.

Are any of you making Christmas gifts this year? If so, I'd love to hear what projects you're working on!

I don't think I've seen gas dip below the $2.00 mark here.

I sometimes make Christmas ornaments, but after having a kid, I haven't been as consistent. A few years ago, we gave all family members sparkling grape juice and made labels for the bottles. I also took a picture of each family, framed it in a scrapbook frame, added some ribbon to the frame and hung it from the bottle. I thought they turned out really nice and they had a Christmas ornament for the future.
