I also worked on a few crafty projects over the weekend. For my first project I took this picture frame and glued the glass into the frame with my smelly E600 glue.
I used one of my UpperCase Living sayings and turned it into this:
Now I just need to get some family pictures up.
.
I also took this board I've had for quite awhile and sanded it down.
Now it looks like this:
My favorite project of the weekend was my "Christmas L". This summer Joy from Joys of Home came up with this project. I made my own and it now sits in our TV stand. I decided to make a Christmas L to hang outside our door this holiday season. As Pioneer Woman would say, here's the cast of characters:Mod Podge, scrapbook paper, ribbon, paint brushes, paint, glitter, newspaper, an L, and a blank board. I think the instructions are in Joy's post if you need them, or are interested. The only thing to add to those instructions is to paint your letter the same color as the glitter you are using.
.
The result:
I think I'm going to change the ribbon to a wider ribbon, but otherwise I really like it! I used the Martha Stewart glitter, it's so sparkly! I love that stuff. Now I'm trying to figure out what else I can glitter up.

Hope you all have a great week!

Your projects turned out great!
Look at you all crafty again! Love all the projects. I have made 25 Christmas cards thus far. Only 25 or so more to go. UGH! Thanks again for checking on me.
I love the L. I've been looking for ideas for our door and something like this would be perfect. Hmmm...maybe I'll have to give it a try.
Your projects look terrific. Great job.
I love a good project with glitter, and this one is fabulous! Such pretty colors you used!
