It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

We woke up to this yesterday morning.
Our area received a little over 5 inches, while other parts of the state received over 40 inches of snow. Glad we missed out on that!
This weather makes me want to get out my Christmas decorations in the worst way! I'm waiting until the Saturday after Thanksgiving though - it's tradition. I always pull out all my decorations the Saturday after Thanksgiving, put in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and get to decorating. I usually listen to that movie and The Santa Clause 1 & 2 while decorating.

We do our Christmas decorating after Thanksgiving too. Usually the day after. As a kid we listened to John Denver and The Muppets Christmas Album. I love those memories and Miss Piggy singing "If you haven't got a penny a hay penny will do. If you haven't got a hay penny then God bless you!" Oh those were the days. Stay safe in the snow and snuggle close with your sweetie!

That's a pretty picture of the snow and trees. I look out my window and it's sunny and 42°. I'm wondering when we'll get our snow. Doesn't look like it will be today!

I love the picture of the snow. I miss it so much. We are still hitting the 80's here.
I too decorate usually the day after Thanksgiving. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Wow!! It does make you want to put out your Christmas decor!! We haven't (surprisingly) had any snow yet. It's in the forecast for this week. Maybe next weekend I can get my husband to put up the Christmas lights outside??
