I finished another Christmas present, but I can't show it because it's for someone who reads my blog. I'll show ya all my homemade Christmas gifts sometime after Christmas. How are you doing on your Christmas shopping/crafting?
I've had the Christmas itch for quite awhile now, and it's getting worse. I'm so ready to decorate. I almost changed my blog layout last night to a Christmas themed one. I'll try to wait till a little closer to Thanksgiving at least, but I'm not making any promises.
I would really like to start some Christmas crafts but I haven't come up with any ideas. I looked at Martha, Country Living, and Better Homes and Gardens tonight for some inspiration. I found a couple ornament ideas at BHG that I am planning to try this weekend.
I'm going to try this one, but I am planning to use drapery trim and fringe instead of the felt.

I thought this one was pretty too. Not sure if I'll get any done this weekend though since our "fabric store" is Walmart. I'll see what I can find.

PS- Thank you to my husband, who not only cleaned today, but also had lots of burning candles waiting for me when I got home tonight. And thank you, thank you for cleaning your side of the bed today. Now I don't have to worry about you breaking your neck when you get out of bed tomorrow :o)

Those are pretty decorations. I actually am working on a few Christmas presents, not decorations. I'm almost done with a paper mache letter to give to a niece to put on her wall. I just used paint, mod podge, scrapbook paper and an Exacto knife. I'm thinking about some embellishments, but haven't decided on anything yet.

I am having to laugh Nicole at your comment....I have no idea why I decided to call my outlets plugs today but plugs were what I called them....lol
I am trying to wait till the weekend before Thanksgiving to decorate....but I am chomping at the bit right now. I usually get so caught up in magazines thinking about what all I want to make that I don't make anything :(
