Ready For Spring

We didn't get much snow overnight, just enough for the birds to leave tracks in. It is snowing now but we won't see as much as other parts of SD did (thank goodness!).

It's Done (Well Kind Of)

You may remember this post where I showed you our embarrassing office/spare bedroom mess. I told you in that post that I was very excited because we were planning to change the room into something exciting. A few of you guess a nursery, but no we aren't ready for that yet. But what we did do was was a great change for me. Here are the after pics:


We still have some things to finish in here (like put pictures in the yellow frame) but I love it already. It's really nice to have a place to work on crafts other than the living room floor! I can start a project and leave it out until I'm ready to finish it. My area:I love my desk. We bought it at a local store that has second hand furniture. It's old and best of all it only cost $5! We got Dave's desk there too for only $25.

The dresser in picture 3 needs to be repainted but it's so handy to have in here. I have all my paints and markers in one drawer, gift bags, tissue paper, and ribbon in another, scrap booking paper in the third, and fabric and miscellaneous items in the bottom drawer. Makes me feel a little better organized!

My Husband Rocks

Thanks to my husband I have my own copy of Twilight. He worked until 1 am last Friday night (technically Saturday morning I suppose) then went to the W-Mart so he could get me a movie that he thinks is stupid and will never watch again. He knew that I really wanted it though so instead of coming home after a long night at work he went shopping. Gotta love the guy!!

A Little Green

I had some green fabric left over from my sewing machine cover project so I decided to make a little St. Patrick's Day treat bag for David.It's not perfect but I'm not about to measure and pin and all that stuff yet. I just cut and sew and hope the side match up somewhat!!

Anyway, I filled the bag with these green treats:

Whew I made it through a whole post without swearing at my computer! And guess who's "add image" button is working again! So much faster than loading pics to Snapfish then doing the whole html code thing!!

Ok I think I got it this time...I might have to adjust the sizes though. I don't understand HTML codes but here it goes.

HELP! Ok...I'm running on Linux with Firefox as my browser. Anyone out there know how to help me post pictures?

I'm Back!!...For Real This Time

Here I am...finally back and ready to blog! I got something new this weekend. Something that I've wanted for awhile but not something that I really know how to use.

Ok.....well maybe I'm not as back as I thought...I just tried to add pictures and nothing happens. GREAT. Ok well....guess I'll leave you with that. Hopefully my husband can figure out what's wrong and I can show you tomorrow.


Anyone have any tips for me? I'm running with Firefox (I think). I click on the spellcheck and it checks the spelling, I click on add video and the little box pops up, but when I click the add image button nothing happens. Grrr....

Almost.....

I'm almost back! My husband got our computer up and running again so I should be back tomorrow (hopefully!).

My computer has some problems so I probably won't be around much or at all this week. I hope to be back & visiting you all soon!
